HERITAGE HYDRANGEAS

Full and generous blooms in shades of sky blue are interspersed with leaves that add late summer warmth in this floral wallpaper by Le Presse Papier, called Les Hortensias 1895.

 

The wallpaper climbs the walls above the painted panelled wainscoting in the sitting room of this 1791 country manor house in the Normandy region of France.

 

Installed by Fouassier the wallpaper is mounted onto a fabric liner using traditional conservation techniques.
