Mentored by Émile Intondi, the former head of Zuber et Cie, now President of the Rixheim Wallpaper Museum, Fouassier is the preferred installer for the Zuber family, trusted for his expert understanding of Zuber's hand block-printed wallpaper and is a specialist in the installation of wallpapers for conservation and restoration projects.

Founded in 1948

Fouassier was founded in 1948 by Arnaud’s grandfather, who installed wallpaper in The White House in Washington. The company was then run by Arnaud’s father, a Compagnon of the Tour de France and co-founder the University of Finishing Trades who played an important role in the French Building Federation for over 40 years. Since then, Arnaud Fouassier has installed wallpaper for two more presidents, in France and at Mount Vernon, home of America's first president, George Washington.
