THE ROAD TO ST MARTIN

Conservation techniques were used to ensure the old walls of this restored Normandy property could breathe.

Canvas is stretched over a wooden frame that is fixed to the walls, leaving a gap between the fabric-lined paper and the stone walls.

​

The wallpaper is a panoramic mural, hand painted and then digitised by Bordeaux-based Ananbô. The finish is ultra-matte, perfect for adding softness and warmth to a hallway.

Here, the green pastoral elements of the design have been highlighted by Fouassier in the paintwork creating a welcoming walk-through with views of the river, complete with rowing boat, and the imagined 'Castel Bellagio'.
